Virtual Innovation Academy log-in instructions. Step 1: Log into your GCSSD computer using your GCSSD username and password. Step 2: Open Google Chrome and go to gcssd.org. Step 3: Click ClassLink in the middle of the GCSSD homepage. Step 4: Select “Sign in with Microsoft.” Step 5: Log in using your username@gcssd.org. Step 6: Click the Pearson Connexus icon to access your courses.

Student Immunization Registration Information: These must be emailed to Amy Richardson by next Friday, 8/21. Include the location where you will bring your students to receive the immunizations. The paperwork can be found at CSH Immunization Paperwork.

South Gibson County High School (SGCHS) is scheduled for August 19 and Gibson County High School (GCHS) for August 20; both note that students will not be screened and paperwork only will be completed. South Gibson County Middle School is scheduled September 3–4. Rutherford School is September 8. Dyer School is September 9–10. Spring Hill School is September 15 in the morning, followed by Kenton School on September 15 in the afternoon. Yorkville School is September 16. South Gibson County Elementary School is scheduled September 22–24. A note at the bottom states that staff health screenings, including blood pressure, vision, and hearing screenings, will be available to any school staff who wish to participate while screenings are taking place at their school. An additional note states there is a required Coordinated School Health regional meeting on Thursday, September 17.

Open Enrollment for the GCSSD Virtual Innovation Academy is now closed to students who are already enrolled in a GCSSD school. If enrollment is desired after August 7, families may complete an in-district transfer request form that seeks approval from the Director of Schools, Mr. Eddie Pruett. VIA Family Information Session Recording Available

Families who were unable to attend the recent Virtual Innovation Academy (VIA) Family Information Session can now access the full recording online. The session, which lasted approximately one hour, provides important details about the program and enrollment process.

If you have not yet confirmed your intent to enroll in VIA, please email as soon as possible so enrollment can be completed in the Pearson platform. Confirmation emails have already been acknowledged for those who have responded.

Virtual Innovation Academy Laptop Pickup & Enrollment Event

Families enrolled in the Gibson County Special School District Virtual Innovation Academy are invited to complete their enrollment and pick up their student laptop.
